People aren’t so sure Mike Tyson actually face Jake Paul on November 15. Lots of folks have their predictions that point to Tyson backing out. Quite a few conspiracy buffs think they’ve got it all out. They believe Paul is already eyeing a rematch with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. or possibly going up against someone else like Tommy Fury.
Yup, they say Paul’s plan is to make headlines, especially since he’s got something cooking with Netflix later in the year. But one skeptic thinks we’ll see someone else filling Tyson’s spot long before the fight even happens.
They also said, Jake Paul isn’t truly gonna fight Mike Tyson. Jake knows that people will go nuts if this fight gets made, which means loads of attention. Mike Tyson will drop out, and then we’ll get to see him fight someone we actually want to see – maybe Fury again. Just saying.
Many folks agreed with this idea, chiming in with responses like, “I hope so.” Another tweeter even shared an official-looking poster featuring Fury instead of Tyson.
Mike should step down for his own health. Sure, he’s got skills, but going several rounds with an opponent can take its toll. I know you said you’re doing it for the money, Mike, but you really have nothing left to prove.
A third person added
Tyson’s commitment’s been under scrutiny ever since he had a stomach ulcer that delayed the fight by four months. Even when he posted gym videos showing off his muscles and energy during a sweated-through interview on the Damon Elliot Show – people were still doubtful.
Following medical treatment for his ulcer, Tyson slimmed down & lost much of his bulk. His new training camp is kicking off again, but lots of doubters are still watching closely.
Former world champ Ishe Smith is among those skeptical about Tyson’s gym clips. Smith believes these videos are mostly for show.
Mike’s workouts for the camera include some pad-hitting. No jumping rope, no sparring, no bag work, speed bag activities nor sit-ups. Then he ends it with some cheesy statement for the video.

Retired star Shane Mosley saw their press conference & wondered why Tyson didn’t seem like himself before a big match.
Did Mike Tyson look excited at the face-off? It felt more mellow than I expected except when asked about body count,

It wasn’t just questions about Tyson potentially withdrawing that surfaced online either. Someone else commented: “Will Jake Paul fake an injury and pull out?”
Even Paul admits he’s unsure if the fight with Tyson will actually happen given recent events.
If Mike wants this fight – I’d be honored. I’m ready for it. We’re all hoping & praying everything’s alright and that he stays healthy because that’s what matters most.
Jake Paul
But first things first – Paul has to get through Mike Perry who packs some serious punches before thinking about facing Tyson. If he loses that battle? Well, canceling the fight might be the only option left for him after all.
Who backs down first?
