  2. For people where English is not their first or native language idiomatic expressions can prove to be very difficult for them to use correctly. Case in point, when a reporter asked Dikembe Mutombo about the difficulty the 76ers had in losing to the Lakers, Dikembe probably wanted to say either, “Playing the Lakers isn’t a walk in the park,” or “ Playing the Lakers isn’t a cakewalk.” Instead, what he actually said was,”Playing the Lakers isn’t a walk in the cake.” Without a doubt that is the best mashup of an idiomatic expression that I have ever heard. RIP Dikembe
