This new contract could see LeBron through his 23rd NBA season—a fitting number for one of the greatest players of all time. When asked if this might be his last deal, LeBron said, “It could be. We’ll see what happens.”
Lakers missing out
Despite the Lakers missing out on signing big-name players like Klay Thompson and DeMar DeRozan, LeBron remains optimistic. “It takes two to tango. Our front office and coaching staff did their best, but sometimes things don’t work out. That’s part of the business.”
